Leslie Maynard is active as a lay speaker in her church, and serves in a leadership capacity for the church’s regional program.  She served two years on the City Council for Oak Point, is an active volunteer at the Little Elm Library, and helps plan various community-wide events.  Sailing is her love, and keeping the lakes and countryside clean is her passion - - making her service on the Committee for Watershed Protection a natural.  Community activities and serving on the Upper Trinity Board (since October 2008) is what Leslie calls “retirement” - - from previously managing her own manufacturer’s representative firm in commercial furniture sales.
